How to apply a nasal strip
Four steps, about thirty seconds. The strip sticks best to clean, dry skin.
-
Clean and dry your nose
Wash and dry your nose to remove any oil, moisturiser, make-up or sweat. The strip needs clean, dry skin to stay on all night.
-
Hold by the backing
Bend the strip so the backing splits in the middle. Hold each end by its backing paper, never the sticky side, and place the centre across your nose, just above the flare of your nostrils.
-
Press and smooth
Peel the backing off each end, then press both ends down along the sides of your nose and run your finger along the strip.
-
Remove gently
In the morning, wet your nose with warm water while washing or showering, then slowly lift both ends. Each strip is single use.

Common questions
Do nasal strips work for snoring?
Nasal strips can help reduce snoring caused by a blocked or narrow nose. By opening your nasal passages, they make it easier to breathe through your nose while you sleep, which can mean quieter nights for you and your partner. Nasal strips do not treat sleep apnoea.
What size are NasalFlow nasal strips?
NasalFlow strips come in one large size, measuring 66mm x 19mm, which fits most adult noses. The strip sits across the bridge of your nose with the ends resting just above the flare of your nostrils.
How long can I wear a nasal strip?
Up to 12 hours in any 24-hour period, which is plenty for a full night's sleep. Remove the strip straight away if your skin becomes sore or irritated.
Are they suitable for sensitive skin?
NasalFlow strips use a hypoallergenic adhesive that suits most skin types. Don't apply a strip over broken, sunburnt, irritated or sore skin, and stop using them if you notice a rash or irritation.
